CONSTRUCTION UPDATES!!

1228161206b-1

We are excited that everything is still on schedule for a March opening. Work on the glass storefront, sheet rock, electrical infrastructure and new tennis court surface is all queuing up nicely.

Like to have a look around? Stop by my office beginning Wednesday January 18th and I’ll be taking small groups of 2-3 for tours of the new clubhouse and indoor tennis building. Hard hats are required and we are pretty sure you will be impressed!

STATE OF THE MEADOWS CLUB

finance
2016 finances showed income higher than budgeted and expenses lower than budgeted.
Our swim program showed a profit for the first time in decades.
Tennis participation and income was significantly higher and expenses were down.
Thanks to our great staff and the leadership of the Board of Directors and finance committee for keeping your club financially strong as we enter 2017.

INDOOR TENNIS ETIQUETTE

1. Please do not enter the courts until it is your time to be on court.
2. Please clean your feet off! The salt around the pool area will damage the court surface.
3. Cross courts at the net after getting permission from the group between points.
4. Please pick up your used tennis balls. New under bench bins will be on court next week.

MEADOWS IS LOVING AUTO WITHDRAWAL PAYMENTS, CREDIT CARDS… NOT SO MUCH

no-credit-cards

We know you enjoy the convenience of a credit card on file with the Meadows Club and we appreciate that you have elected to have an auto-deduction of your monthly bill. Removing steps between billing and invoicing has created a much more efficient system; however, the high cost of processing fees for credit cards is not sustainable in the long run. The Board of Directors examined options including covering the credit card cost in increased dues, program fees and other costs but ultimately felt it was best for members to keep costs low by eliminating credit card usage and their processing fees. The Meadows Club is phasing credit cards out of our system and are asking that you elect to move to an auto-debit of your bank account to help keep expenses as low as possible. We would prefer to reinvest in updated amenities for your club rather than spending this money on processing fees. In order to set up an Electronic Funds Transfer, you may either log in to your member account and complete the process online or bring a voided check to the trailer. If you have questions about billing and payment options, please feel free to contact either Anne Marie or Bob at the Club at 303-494-5069.

Other questions comments or concerns? Please do not hesitate calling, emailing or visiting me in the lifeguards’ office. See you at the club!
