Meadows Club Board of Directors Meeting – November 17, 2009

Meeting called to order by Ann Goldfarb

October 22, 2009 meeting minutes amended and approved

Staff Report:

KJ announced that the 2010 dues will increase 9% over 2009. With an increase of $235

per swimmer for swim team (a $10.00 discount will go to families with multiple participants).

It is felt that any organization using the club for a charity event may be allowed to do so, but would

be required to pay a cleaning fee. Historically, Mother House runs an event in the summer, and we

would like for this to continue, but would not like to take the financial hit for cleaning the club after

an event.

Fencing on Court 6 has been completed, with electrical work to be finished up soon.

KJ has completed employee evaluations. Nate and Adrian are coming back, and goals are in place

for the upcoming year.

New Business:

The Board relied on the Meadows by-laws and state law regarding non-profit elections in order to

ensure that the board of directors election used a reasonable method and complied with all

relevant provisions.

Membership – Dave Appel, Kirk Jamison

Communication – Laura Barton, Ann Goldfarb, Kirk Jamison

As there has not been approval from the City on the indoor facility, Phase II was not discussed

tonight, and updates will be tabled until the December meeting.
